What happens when Pro ends
When a trial or subscription ends, the workspace returns to Free. Your logbook, notes and documents are kept. Pro features stop until you subscribe again.
Pro can end in three ways: your 14-day sign-up trial runs out, you cancel your subscription, or a payment fails and Stripe gives up retrying. In each case the workspace goes back to Free.
What you keep
Everything you have entered stays. Nothing is deleted because a plan ended.
- Your logbook: every entry, its history, your totals and currency. The core logbook is Free.
- Notes and documents: all of them, including anything over the Free storage limit.
- Flights you prefilled from ADS-B, and the tracks already saved on them.
- Your settings, labels, custom fields and ruleset.
What stops
Each Pro feature switches off when the plan ends. Where you would have used it, you see a short description of the feature instead.

If you have more than 500 MB of documents
Your documents are not removed. You can still open, download and delete them. New uploads are refused until you are back under 500 MB, and any single new file has to be 25 MB or less. See Document storage limits.
Before your trial ends
Pilot Lab emails you three days before your sign-up trial ends, and again when it has ended. The Billing & Plans page shows the days left the whole time. To carry on with Pro, add payment details before the end date. See Upgrade to Pro and manage your subscription.
Getting Pro back
Subscribe again at any time from Billing & Plans. Pro features come back as soon as the subscription is active, with your data as you left it. The sign-up trial is once per person, so a second trial is not offered when you come back.
